Germs, viruses, bacteria, fungi etc. have always been a significant problem for food processing industry and every facility which has to maintain highest microbiological standards of purity. Contamination of the product lines, packages and product itself leads to undermining the reputation of the brand and poor outcome in sales.

Ultraviol offers modern and highly effective germicidal lamps which provide complete disinfection of air and surfaces. Ultraviolet irradiation C in length of the wave: 254 nm is lethal for microorganisms, germs, fungi etc. because it destroys their DNA structure. Microorganisms are not able to become resistant to UV-C and that is why their complete elimination is inevitable. Moreover ultraviolet irradiation scares off rats, mice and other rodents.
The application of germicidal lamps originated from hospitals, where the microbiological purity is crucial. They are extremely effective and relatively cheap way of improving the standards of cleanliness. Their usage is a great support in fighting with contamination in the food processing industry. The installations of germicidal lamps does not require modernization of processes or big financial expense.

HOW DOES THE DIRECT RADIATION UV-C GERMICIDAL LAMP FOR INDUSTRIAL USE WORK?
Direct radiation germicidal lamps type NBV IP65 are designed to prevent primary and secondary infections in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, warehouses, everywhere the production process takes place. Direct radiation germicidal lamps applied in the rooms where airborne pathogenic microorganisms (pathogens) lives, significantly reduces the probability of spread the infection by air. Raising the level of microbiological purity of the air and surface helps to destroy and reduce impact of existing outbreaks of pathogens.

Our devices meet all the requirements of the electrical safety. Applied Philips and Osram UV-C tubes guarantee the long-term and failure-free exploitation.

In germicidal industrial lamps we apply antibacterial fluorescent lamps covered-laminated with the special protective foil in case of the shards of the glass do not pollute articles. Shrink-wrapped fluorescent lamps fulfil security regiments EU and the system HACCP. Adapted foil does not minimize the efficiency of antibacterial fluorescent lamps and simultaneously protects fluorescent lamps against bruises. The ultraviolet radiation does not penetrate through the usual glass, plexiglass and similar materials.
MOUNTING OPTIONS
Germicidal lamps can be mounted to the ceiling, on mobile stand, on the wall or hung with the chains. It is possible to mount the lamps inside the industrial device, for example over the belt elevator, what enables direct disinfection of products or packages. Germicidal industrial lamps are made in cover type IP 65 which is dustproof and resistant to moisture. The housing is made of the acid-resistant metal sheet, fault-tolerant. Germicidal UV-C tubes ensure extremely high efficiency in elimination of bacterium and fungi for 9000 working hours.
Bigger rooms should be equipped with the quantity of the lamps proportionally bigger according to the principle mentioned above. In low temperatures the efficiency of activity of UV-C irradiation weakens, so the time of work should be longer then. Regular control and wiping of the irradiation tubes is crucial, because the dust can reduce the emission the UV-C irradiation.

HOW DOES THE SINGLE PURPOSE UV-C FLOW GERMICIDAL LAMP WORK?
Contaminated air is drawn by a fan into the disinfection chamber. The UV-C radiation intensity and the time during which the air remains in the disinfection chamber are selected so that the air blown out from the lamp is practically free of microorganisms. It should also be noted that the forced flow of the air results in its smooth circulation and cause disinfection of the air in the whole room. This is a safe way to get rid of viruses, bacteria, molds and fungi from the air.
MOUNTING OPTIONS

THE MOST FREQUENT APPLICATIONS OF GERMICIDAL LAMPS IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY
Cloakrooms and any other social rooms where employees are quite close to each other should be disinfected 24 h per day. The air is constantly moving and could be the source of secondary infections. UV-C flow germicidal lamps effectively kill all the viruses and bacteria in a safe way. People can be present while lamps are working.
Direct radiation of UV-C quickly and easily destroys every microorganisms on the surfaces. As a manufacturer of UV-C NBV IP65 lamps, we tested our devices in an independent laboratory.
